Table Top Mountain Hike
Date: Sept 16th Depart ODR 0800 Fee: $5.00 per person
Join us as we hike in the foothills of the White Mountains north of Fairbanks and experience the beauty of the fall colors! Cool autumn air and spectacular
views make this easy 3 mile loop and pleasure. You may even find some cranberries along the way! Bring good hiking shoes, water and a lunch!
Mastadon Dome Hike
Date: Sept 22nd Depart ORC at 7am Fee: $5.00 per person
Winter will be just around the corner as Outdoor Rec heads up to Mastadon Dome, a high point near Eagle Summit. We will head out across bright,
colorful tundra with sweeping views of the Yukon Flats to the north and rolling hills of the Tanana uplands to the south. Dress warm, bring good boots,
water and lunch for this fall colors trip!
Frisbee Golf
Date: Sept 24 Depart ORC at 5pm Fee: $7.00 per person
Frisbee Golf is a fun and relaxing way to spend some time outdoors in the fleeting fall of interior Alaska. Join us as we head to Birch Hill to try 18 holes of
awesome disc golf. Outdoor Rec provides equipment.
Coal Mine Trail ATV Trip
Dates: Oct. 6-7 Time: Depart the ORC at 8:00 am. Fee: $100 per person.
Join us for an overnight ATV Trip on the Coal Mine Trail south of Delta Junction. We provide ATV’s, helmets, goggles and food. You Bring Warm boots, cold
weather clothing, hand/foot warmers and a good pair of gloves.
Stiles Creek ATV Trip
Dates: Oct. 13 Time: 8 am to 5 pm. Fee: $75 per person.
Stiles Creek is an easy to moderate trail beginning in the valley and rising up to the high ridges overlooking the Chena River valley. We provide
transportation, atv and helmet. If the temperature drops below -10° F, we will postpone to a warmer day. An ATV Safety Course is required prior to the
departure date.
Chena Hot Springs lunch and soak
Date: Oct. 27 Fee: $50 per person. Time: 10am to 5 pm.
Spend an early Fall day with us for lunch and a soak at fantastic Chena Hot Springs. Nothing beats a full stomach and a hot soak. Your meal and pool cost
are included in the cost.
Family Archery

Date: Oct 6 Fee: $3.00 per person Time: 1pm to 4pm
Learn the basics of archery and shoot with the family. No experience needed. We provide all necessary equipment for this fun afternoon.
Gulkana Glacier Hike
Date: Oct. 5th Fee: $20.00 Time: 7am to 7pm
Journey south into the Alaska Range with Outdoor Rec to visit the Gulkana Glacier. The fresh mountain snows of winter will be covering nearby peaks as
they soar thousands of feet into the air. Bring warm clothing, good hiking footwear, water and lunch. This is a great trip you won’t want to miss!
Chena Hotsprings Hike and Soak
Date: Oct 13th Fee: $20 Time: Depart Outdoor Rec at 8am
Experience Autumn in Alaska at its best. Brisk weather, bright colors, beautiful views and a relaxing soak make this trip a classic. We will hike nearby in the
Chena State Recreation Area and then head to the hotsprings after. Bring good hiking shoes, water and lunch; as well as swimsuit and towel for the
hotsprings.
Alaska Range Hike/Snowshoe
Date: Oct 20th Fee: $20 Time: Depart ORC at 7am
Dramatic scenery, steep canyon walls, and clear mountain streams slowly feezing up are just a few of the amazing things you’ll experience on this trip. We
head down to the Alaska Range to explore one of the many mountain gorges that course out of the tall peaks. Depending on snow, we will either hike or
snowshoe. Bring warm clothes, sturdy boots, water and lunch.
Winter Adventure Clinic
Date: Oct 27 Fee: Free Time: 1pm
Stay active and energized this winter by getting outside to have some fun! Swing by Outdoor Rec for this clinic where we will discuss ideas for winter
activities of all types, and how to do them safely. This clinic is a great way to become familiar with all the great things to do in Fairbanks over the winter!
