This document discusses two models for converting online leads from Siebel CRM into opportunities.
Model 1 has the LDR convert leads to opportunities by changing the lead status, filling out opportunity details, and dispatching to sales. Model 2 has sales convert leads by changing the lead status, verifying quality, and either retiring unqualified leads or creating opportunities for qualified leads.
Both models involve confirming lead details in Siebel, evaluating quality, determining if the lead already exists, and changing the lead status and owner during the conversion process from lead to either an opportunity or retired status.
