This document defines several important online terms for job seekers: a profile highlights one's skills and experience; a cover letter introduces oneself to prospective clients; a resume contains one's background, skills, experiences, and accomplishments; a client hires and pays for work either short-term or long-term; an employer provides longer-term employment; a job contract specifies terms agreed upon between employer and employee; and a portfolio showcases samples of one's work for clients.

PROFILE 01 02 03 Is like your Resumé or the ordinary Bio-data. Aside from basic details, it is important that you highlight your skills and experience, if you have.
COVER LETTER 01 02 03 This is where you introduce yourself to the prospective client. Here, you would inform the client where you found the job post, what you can do, and anything that is relevant that’s not in your resumé. 
RESUMÉ 01 02 03 Your resumé would normally contain your name, email address, skills and experiences past and present to showcase what you have done for the client to gauge if you’re suited for the job, how long you’ve worked for your past or present client, and what you’ve accomplished. 
CLIENT 01 02 03 A client is someone (local or foreign) who hires and pays you for a certain type of job which may just be for a short period of time or possibly longer, depending on the client’s evaluation of your output.
EMPLOYER 01 02 03 An employer (local or foreign) could be a person or a company that would hire you for a longer period of time.
JOB/EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT 01 02 03 It is a document where two parties agree on the terms laid down by the other, in this case, the employer/client.
PORTFOLIO 01 02 03 Is your set of work that you showcase to your prospective client when he/she asks for it. This is usually asked of photographers (photos), graphic artists (artworks), sales people (track record or clients).
