client to gauge if you’re suited for the job,

present client, and what you’ve
accomplished.

A client is someone (local or foreign)
who hires and pays you for a certain
type of job which may just be for a
short period of time or possibly
longer, depending on the client’s
evaluation of your output.
EMPLOYER

An employer (local or
foreign) could be a person or
a company that would hire
you for a longer period of
time.
JOB/EMPLOYMENT
CONTRACT

It is a document where two
parties agree on the terms
laid down by the other, in
this case, the
employer/client.
PORTFOLIO

Is your set of work that you
showcase to your prospective
client when he/she asks for it. This
is usually asked of photographers
(photos), graphic artists
(artworks), sales people (track
record or clients).
