This document outlines the course plan for History of Art and Architecture. It proposes changing the course title to better reflect the literature's focus on both art and architectural history. The objectives are to promote awareness of socio-cultural, political, economic, and technological contexts of past and present architecture. Students will visit historical buildings in Karachi and Thatta and participate in a drama workshop. The curriculum will cover Renaissance/Baroque architecture and the Industrial Revolution's impact, as well as 19th/20th century developments and modern pioneers like Wright and Le Corbusier.
