So What Is The Summer Like?  • Training • Early Arrival • Mondays & Tuesdays = Orientation! • Wednesdays & Thursdays = Prep!
What Do OLs Do During Orientation?  • Welcome and register students & families • Lead icebreakers and discussions • Answer questions and mingle with parents • Work evening activities  • Lead tours of campus spaces
What About the Rest of the Week?  • Materials Prep! • Staff meetings & Debrief • One on One Meetings
Who Do OLs Work With?  • Over 3500 students & 5000 guests • First-Year Students • Transfer Students • Domestic & International Students • Parents & Families
What Are We Looking For?  • Internally motivated! • All kinds of leaders • Professionalism, Flexibility, Maturity • Enthusiasm for NU & Orientation • Passionate, fun people with empathy
The Serious Stuff  • Full-time job! • Must attend training in March & May • No vacation days • No other jobs or classes • Free from May 17 - August 28
Even More Serious Stuff  • Must be an undergraduate • Minimum GPA of 3.0 • Good judicial standing
What Do You Get?  • A fun job with valuable leadership skills! • $3100 summer stipend • On campus room & meal plan (10/wk) • Husky Dollars! • An Orientation Family 
How to Apply  • Complete the application online • Submit 2 recommendations • Deadline is Friday, February 6 • Sign up for an interview in Ell 101
Interviews  • Sign up in Ell 101  • Individual Interviews 2/9 - 2/27 • First Round Notification 3/2 • Group Interviews 3/4 & 3/5 • Decision Release 3/16
