Oscmar International Limited, located in New Zealand, manufactures military simulation systems and needed a new automated test equipment (ATE) solution for manufacturing and field testing. They worked with NI New Zealand to develop a PXI-based ATE system using NI hardware and software modules. The new ATE solution improved flexibility and functionality over Oscmar's previous in-house system. Key players on the project included Craig Smith as test manager and Sergei Strelets as test engineer. The successful project strengthened the partnership between Oscmar and NI and is expected to lead to future expansion of ATE capabilities and additional NI product purchases.
