Todays school leavers face more options and career choices than ever before, with university courses at home and abroad, higher apprenticeship programmes and employer school leaver schemes. There are lots of decisions to make. Researching and gaining as much self-knowledge and experience as they can before leaving school can help and is an important part of the journey into the right career choice. But why just girls? Women are constantly being compared to others in the media, making it much harder for them to accept themselves as they are and recognise and value their own unique strengths and qualities. The role of women in the modern world involves so many complex and difficult choices that it is vital that women are empowered to make the right choices for them as individuals, rather than pleasing others, performing to archetypal roles or conforming to social conditioning. Working with girls to challenge this conditioning, encouraging them to be to authentic to who they are and their values, is vital to their future success. The world of work is an ever-changing environment, with new job roles and working environments being created constantly as technology quickly advances. Timetable 9:30hrs Students Arrive 9:40hrs Registration, Welcome & Tour of the Hub 10:00hrs - PACKTYPES COACHING ACTIVITY FUN, INTERACTIVE, ENJOYABLE SELF-DISCOVERY Your daughter will be guided through a creative play based technique using cards, games and discussion to develop self-awareness and realise potential. We are at our most open when we are playing so the coaching package Packtypes uses the power of play to help your child learn more and more about themselves and other people. They will be guided through a activities uncovering base values, beliefs and capabilities. Each child will receive their own workbook to record their learning. 12:30hrs TALK: INSPIRATIONAL ENTREPRENEUR COULD IT BE YOU? Each workshop will feature a different entrepreneur talking about how they felt when they were at school and how they got to where they are today. Insightful and personal talks with the opportunity to connect with the individual through LinkedIn and continue chatting over lunch. 13:00hrs LUNCH 13:45hrs TALK: WORLD OF WORK EXPLORATORY, ENGAGING & EYE-OPENING A fun and interactive look into the future of work in 2025 see how technology is physically changing the workplace, and the skills needed in business to succeed. 14:15hrs PACKTYPES COACHING ACTIVITY FEEDBACK, ACTIVITIES & GAMES Your daughter will engage in further Packtypes activity, looking at different approaches and values in different situations - family, home, sports, work and play. Theyll learn to recognise themselves through the eyes of family, friends and teachers - valuing difference and diversity and further harnessing their powers of self-awareness. 15:30hrs SUM UP AND TAKE AWAYS 15:45hrs Tea and Close 贈179 (inc VAT) per child This includes the workshop, all coaching materials and lunch. Please note this does not include travel to and from the venue. Investment Please contact your school to book your daughter on to this course. How to book The workshop takes place over one day. In order not to disturb the school day, we usually run these on a Saturday from 9:30am 4:00pm. Since turning consultant in 2004, she has worked with ambitious SMEs, often through periods of great transition, and is a non-executive director of a non-profit based in London. Passionate about help- ing individuals realise their true potential, she is a licensed instructor for the Packtypes social fitness programme and a business/life coach. An English & Drama graduate from the University of Kent, she is keen advocate of the Arts and, in the city of Bath, an active and loyal supporter of the Theatre Royal Bath, the Bath Literature Festival and the Bath Film Festival.
