10. Pancakes
History of the Crepes (and galettes)
9000 years ago, legend has it that a wisp of fairy magic, some
damper and a heated stone gave birth to the first crepe, made of
cereal like grasses. It was thick, a little heavy, but it could be rolled
and it tasted good. During the 12th and 13th centuries, buckwheat
was brought to France by the returning Crusaders. It grew well in
the poor soils but favorable climate of Brittany. Buckwheat was
used to create savory crepes called galettes, traditionally eaten
with buttermilk and accompanied by a bowl of cider. They became
even more popular when Anne of Brittany promoted them.
Galettes are the traditional savory dish of Brittany, and are filled
with meat, ham, sausage, cheese or fish. The basic recipe has not
changed: Buckwheat flour, salt and water.

flavors. Again each flavor should have his form of
presentations

There should be two prices. One for adults and one for kids below
the age of 12.

What I would request from Marketing:
- A6 Format paper that client can fill in to order the live cooking.
- A5 Flyers to be given by the reception to the clients or to be left in
each room by housekeeping on Thursday night. The same flyers
could also be used to leave at the different information desks in the
mall.
- Nice text (HTML if possible) to use to send by email to all clients
on our database.
- I would like a A4 menu printed on both sides to give the clients the
chance to order more pancakes after the Pancakes Festival.
- Text for the different magazines.
