Introductory music classes offered at Piano Central Studios at our Greenville, SC and Simpsonville, SC studio locations.

Blast-Off! with Piano© gives beginning students a successful $89 per session (tuition and materials included) introduction to the piano and the small group setting makes it extra fun! Learn keyboard Thursdays 6:30-7:30 pm @ Woodruff Rd geography and rhythm basics, enjoy fun sheets and games, and share in the joy of music Sep 20 – Oct 18 together! Each student learns on their own digital piano in our digital piano lab. Classes Instructor: Mrs. Lauren Jones meet once a week for five weeks. Special performances on the last day of class. Saturdays 10:30-11:30 am @ Pleasantburg Sep 15 – Oct 12 or Oct 20 – Nov 17 Instructor: Miss Michelle Poppe Saturdays 1:00-2:00 pm @ Pleasantburg Sep 15 – Oct 12 or Oct 20 – Nov 17 Instructor: Miss Jennifer Ferring My First SUZUKI Piano for K5 thru 2nd graders Little fingers accomplish big things under the guidance of our certified Suzuki piano $99 per session (tuition and materials included) teacher and with the involvement of the parent. In fact, Suzuki piano students are often Mondays 6:15-7:15 pm @ Pleasantburg able to play at a better technical and musical level at an earlier age as they learn to Sep 17 – Oct 15 or Oct 22 – Nov 19 develop the ear and become more creative musicians. Enjoy engaging activities on and off Instructor: Ms. Kendra Zimmerman the bench in this introductory class that acclimates beginners to the piano and the Suzuki method. Fun games, familiar songs, and keyboard activities teach basic musical concepts and skills that lay the perfect foundation for Suzuki piano lessons. My First SUZUKI Violin for 1st to 4th graders Nurture your child's musical potential with Suzuki violin! The fun starts with making egg- $99 per session (tuition and materials included) carton violins and foot charts as students practice posture and stance before moving on to Saturdays 10:15-11:15 am @ Pleasantburg playing their own miniature-sized violin. Students are exposed to the basics of rhythm and Sep 15 – Oct 12 or Oct 20 – Nov 17 pitch as they identify high and low sounds and learn the names of the strings and the Instructor: Miss Anna Burrell notes to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. By the end of the class, they’ll be playing along to some well-known songs. This class lays a solid foundation for success in private lessons afterwards. First Strings VIOLIN! for 1st to 4th graders Begin your strings “career” and get a head start on private lessons in this beginning class! $89 per session (tuition and materials included) With this enjoyable introduction to the violin, students learn basic bow grip, hand Thursdays 3:30-4:30 pm @ Woodruff Rd position, and fingerings. Game time and hands-on experience with a violin just your size Sep 13 – Oct 11 or Oct 18 – Nov 15 also ensures a fun and successful introduction to the violin. Instructor: Miss Tori Wood Thursdays 5:45-6:45 pm @ Woodruff Rd Oct 18 – Nov 15 Instructor: Mrs. Jen Gerber Beginning Flute Class for 5th to 8th graders Our Beginning Flute Class is the perfect way to start out with the flute! Learn to listen, $89 per session (tuition and materials included) finger, produce a beautiful tone and care for this unique woodwind instrument. Students Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 @ Woodruff Rd will learn proper posture and breathing techniques necessary for producing a beautiful Sep 11 – Oct 9 or Oct 16 – Nov 13 tone on the instrument. By the end of class they will be playing some familiar tunes. Instructor: Miss Janene Brackbill Classes meet once a week for five weeks. Rental of a flute is required. This class paves the way for continued flute study. Voice for Young Singers for 5 to 9 yr olds Is your young singer just dying to take lessons? VOICE FOR YOUNG SINGERS gives these $89 per session (tuition and materials included) budding vocalists an opportunity to explore and develop their voices in a group setting. Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 pm @ Pleasantburg Learn proper posture and breathing techniques and begin the basics of music theory. Sep 11 – Oct 9 or Oct 16 – Nov 13 Each student will gain confidence in solo singing while also learning to harmonize with the Instructor: Mrs. Megan Kingsbury Wiggs others in our class as they are exposed to a wide range of music from the classics to Broadway. Special performances on the last day of each session.
