PDHPE teaches students about health, wellbeing, and physical education from K-6. It covers social, mental, physical, and spiritual health to develop knowledge and skills for healthy, fulfilling lives. Students learn important life skills like decision making, nutrition, safety, communication, and relationships. Physical education teaches locomotive, non-locomotive, and manipulative movement skills and the importance of physical activity and sports. PDHPE is necessary to address issues like obesity and ensures students are physically and emotionally healthy.

21. As someone who strives to live a healthy and active lifestyle, I believe that as a teacher my students will see my passion for this subject and this in turn will enhance their learning experience in PDHPE.
