On the 30th October 2014 Historic Scotland hosted a gathering at Edinburgh Castle. Over 50 archaeologists from Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland gathered together with experts in funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, Scotland Europa, the Heritage Lottery Fund, Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage and Creative Scotland (Creative Europe). Our second Comenius project meeting took place in London, England from November 20-24, 2013. The group stayed in Stratford and visited Ranelagh Primary School daily, where they engaged with young students and shared presentations on traditional autumn foods from each country. They toured Borough Market and sampled traditional English ingredients and teas. The host school surprised visitors with a cultural food tasting event showcasing dishes from many backgrounds. The group also toured central London sites and neighborhoods, experiencing Fish and Chips in Greenwich and Indian food in Brick Lane. Volunteers helped with opening and closing the building and maintaining it. Fundraising events increased their bank balance to over £12,000 allowing window renovations. Donations were received and annual subscriptions covered costs. Their archive of Holm's heritage materials expanded with new donations. Harmony Community Trust celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2015 with a full schedule of events and activities. Key events included a large Thanksgiving celebration in November bringing together old and new volunteers, and the continuation of seminar programs. The Trust focused on developing community links in Ards and Down as well as expanding to Newry, Mourne, and Down. Both adult and children's programs addressed sectarianism and continued to be effective in including participants from all backgrounds. The sustainability of the Trust was ensured by the Council of Management through growing programs and maintaining Glebe House as a shared venue.
