These will include Day programmes,
Workshops and Study Tours.
All Day programmes and Workshops will take place at
Glebe House, Kilclief.
Places are limited, so please book early to avoid
disappointment.

Going to Fergusons Linen factory with visit
to an old Scutch Mill at Dromore.
• 7th April: Day programme:
Talk with archive film by Joan Magee NI Libraries
on the history of Flax growing.
• April: Two Workshops
looking at Linen work and a chance to explore needle craft
work. Dates to be arranged.

• 1st April: Workshop Understanding Our Place
A look at the history and life of some of the places
our participants come from.
• 15th April: Study tour: Understanding Our Place.

A Talk on the Down Cathedral High Cross,
making symbols of faith, St Bridget's Cross, and Gods Eyes…

A day of Easter crafts and a chance to meet old friend and
make new ones. Bring your Easter Bonnet and join in the
Glebe House Easter parade.

A visit to the farming capital of Northern Ireland
• May Day Programme
Day activities looking at the affects of the conflict on the
rural community.
