The author describes excruciating stomach pains through vivid metaphors comparing the pain to falling off a cliff, running with a deep cramp, having their stomach twisted upside down and tied in a bow, being clawed by a cat from within, surgery recovery, being stabbed with an ice knife, an internal ever blazing fire, and the collapse of the World Trade Center towers from within. Though the pains are severe, the author feels they may be helping to develop abdominal muscles, and the state of relief after is like bliss.

at the end of a 100 metre cliff fall.
It's as sore as me running with a deep cramp in my
stomach.
It feels like my stomach is twisted upside down and
tied in a bow.
It feels like a girl is pinching my stomach with sharp
cat claws, ripping me inside.
It's as painful as me coming out of surgery in June.
The pain in my stomach feels like I've been stabbed
with a frozen ice knife -78c below zero.
It feels like an ever blazing 鍖re burning my insides.
The pain sometimes feels like, the 9/11 towers are
collapsing inside of me.
Though, through all the pain, it feels like abs are
coming on.
And when it's over, it's like you're in a state of bliss.
