- 2. WHAT IS LIGHT-DARK TANK TEST? Standardized methodology for assessing fish anxiety like behavior More time spent in the white region = more eager to explore More time spent in the dark region = less eager to explore, more wary of potential predators
- 3. HOW DOES IT WORK? - Fish are acclimatized inside the tank for 3 minutes - The fish are restricted to the middle area with flaps - The fish is then recorded swimming in the tank for 15 minutes
- 4. PHONE STAND - For convenience - Standard tripods might take too long to setup - Standard tripods might be bumped out of focus every after observation session - Dimensions are already based on a pre-made tank so no manual adjustments are needed in between observations

OLD DESIGN VS NEW DESIGN - 2 mm Acryllic - Body is 10 cm wide - Base is 5mm acrylic Points of Improvement: - Body wobbles - Doesnt capture the entire field of view of the tank. - Phone must be portrait relative to the tank - 3mm MDF - Body is 10 cm wide - Base is made out of 18mm plywood Points of Improvement: - Phones with a height beyond 15 cm will not fit in the slot
