1 Phony Prophets for Profit Text: 2Pet 2:1-3 1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words
2 make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. Peter warns against the much-acclaimed orators, with the will and skill to deceive, with the sugary poison the pours from their lips, for the sinister purpose of enslaving the simple and profiting from their fall. I. Counterfeit Preacher.

Truth is not preached against or outlawed it is SPOKEN against. When truth loses its authority, words have no power. Productids are no longer ingredients but emotional descriptions.

Titus 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
