This document is a photography workshop presented in chapters that covers topics such as camera types, photography basics, composition, types of photography and resources. It begins with introductions and discusses the differences between cameras and the human eye. Subsequent chapters address factors that impact exposure; aperture, shutter speed, ISO and how they work together. Point and shoot digital cameras are
intended to be the easiest way to capture
high-quality images quickly.
Bridge cameras are cameras which fill
the niche between the single-lens
reflex cameras (SLRs) and the point-and-
shoot camera.
A digital single-lens reflex camera (also
called a digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital
camera combining the optics and the
mechanisms of a single-lens reflex camera
with a digital imaging sensor, as opposed
to photographic film.

The exposure of a photo depends on three primary factors:
Lens aperture
ISO sensitivity (sometimes referred to as ISO speed.)
Shutter speed

If you increase lens aperture, the exposure value increases, and the photo will
turn out brighter.
If you decrease lens aperture, the exposure value decreases, and the photo
will turn out darker.
