Chaulukya or Solanki was one of the Rajputs born from Agnikul. In the Vadnagar inscription, the origin of this dynasty is told from Brahma's Chauluk or Kamandalu. They ruled in Gujarat from the latter half of the tenth century to the beginning of the thirteenth century. Their capital was in Anahilwad. It is not certain whether it had any relation with the Chalukya dynasty of the south or not. It is worth mentioning that the name of the dynasty of the south was 'Chaluky' while the dynasty of Gujarat has been called 'Chaulukya'. - 3. Chalk The chalk helps you not slip because of your hands on the bars and beam . The chalk absorbs the sweat so it is not possible to slip on the beams and bars. Its also keeps them more stable.
- 4. Beam Beam is the straight bar you see People do flips, turns ,and jumps and many other skills on beam Most people use chalk but some dont The beam is very dangerous without chalk.
- 5. Floor Floor is were you do your routine. You have all the force when you do the skills . They also perform rhythm gymnastics witch the force is in their arms and legs to push the ribbon and hoops gymnastics ball. they have to use all there force to bend down.
- 6. Vault Vault is a when they get a running start and push off the base The have wrist guards to protect there wrist You have to use all your force to push back it is the hardest skill if you have to use all that force. The vault has a spring to push them up.
- 7. Have you wondered? What are the physics of gymnastics? How do they keep them selves up? The trick to keeping them selves up is there own stored energy Once they are up, the stored energy turns into kinetic energy.
