The great aspect of the Whatif poem is that it addresses a lot of
childrens fears. Since it is relatable to all students it will enhance
comprehension and relevance. With all of its random references it is
easily incorporated it into science with growing teeth, academics with
failing, art with dancing and science with weather. Perhaps the biggest
way to incorporate the poem is with invented spelling. I would use this
poem in all grade levels.
