What is Pinterest Pinterest is a social networking site It allows you to organise and share ideas through what is called virtual pin boarding You can pin something that you find interesting on the net using Pinterest Then organise your thoughts into individual pin boards based on categories that you select Pinterest can be used for wedding planning, home decorating, sharing favourite recipes etc.. The possibilities are limitless

Pin Pin is an image thats added to Pinterest It can be added from a website using the Pinit button or uploaded from your PC Each Pin added using the Pinit button links back to the site it came from A Pin can be an image or a video So Pinterest basically acts like a virtual cork board that you can pin something of interest and go back to it later.
- 5. Board A Board is a collection of Pins Add as many pins as you like to your board Boards can be edited any time Create a board for each category
- 6. Repin Repin is used to re-share things that you find interesting It can be something that other people have posted You may want to simply repin an image or video to another board or multiple boards Repin can also be used to share your pin with your followers

Comments and Likes When you find something of interest, you can add your stamp of approval You can Like it by clicking on the like button And/Or add a comment by clicking on the Comment button You can unlike things but you cannot delete a comment Great way to interact with people and to increase your circle of friends
- 8. Follow Following means you want to pay attention to whatever this person is posting There are 2 levels of following 1. Follow the overall user This means that every time this user posts anything on Pinterest, it will show up on your newsfeed 2. Follow an individual board Every time a new pin is added to this board it will show up on your newsfeed By doing this you are adding more content to your news feed making it easier for you to find things that interest you on Pinterest
