A pilot study was conducted among five final year nursing students at Nirmala College in Calicut to test the practicability and reliability of a research study. Reliability of the study's measurement tool was established using the split half method. Ethical approval was obtained from the principals of Nirmala College of Nursing and Nirmala School of Nursing, and consent was received from the participating students.
