- 4. Making contact and applying ¨C it¡¯s time to justify your hard work jd285@kent.ac.uk ? Make a convincing cover letter¡ start applying now! ? Be very persistent ¨C remind the company of your interest ? Log all details (names, numbers, emails, addresses etc.) ? Don¡¯t let any setbacks stop you from looking
- 5. jd285@kent.ac.uk The interview ¨C it¡¯s nothing like an interrogation ? Obvious or not, look presentable ¨C it¡¯s your one chance to impress your potential manager ? The company are only looking to know more about you. They understand we are still students
- 6. jd285@kent.ac.uk ? Make a cover letter template and make slight modifications for each application ? From my experience, placements abroad are incredibly difficult to come by Recommendations ? Leave your choices open
