This document outlines stages of player development according to Krzysztof Sierocki. It describes three stages that players progress through: Stage I focuses on the individual player and their relationship with the ball; Stage II introduces teammates and understanding their roles; Stage III views the player as part of the whole team. Each stage develops skills, behaviors, perception, and decision making appropriate for the stage. Stage I in particular emphasizes winning 1v1 situations and building confidence with the ball. The result of Stage I is a player skilled in dribbling and ball protection with strong individual mental qualities.
