The culture of San Agustin, whose heritage us a beautiful stones
sculptures, can be admired in Colombia within the department of Huila.
The houses were built with wooden columns with a
circular floor covered with mud and straw.
We are growing
corn, fruits, and
vegetables
We are fishing
for our
community
We hunt
animals to have
meet to eat.
Thanks to the different
climates, this population
had a number of diverse
resources.
I am the cacique,
the chief of the
tribe.
The Augustinian society was organized into
Cacicazgos and the power was held by the
Cacique.
The main adornments used by
the San Agustin culture were
the necklaces, bracelets and
nose rings made of stone, shells
and gold.
