This document summarizes the author's experience using Twitter to build a personal learning network focused on education. It describes how in the beginning they had no tweets, followers, or people followed, but grew their network over a few weeks to follow 122 people and gain 49 followers. The author shares several education-focused Twitter accounts they have found most valuable for sharing resources on homework, technology, student engagement and more. These include Discovery Education for science experiments, Edublogs for integrating technology into learning, and Edutopia for strategies that work well in the classroom. The author concludes that their Twitter-based PLN has helped them learn a lot about education and technology in an easy way to share resources with others.
