The Academy Culture and Education Association (AKED) held a Parenting Initiative (PI) Day event on March 14th to promote their parenting initiative project. Over 20 participants attended the event, where two members shared their experiences in Spain working on the project. They discussed past activities and future plans. The association also organized a Parenting Education Conference on March 30th with over 200 attendees. A psychologist gave a lecture on the importance of parenting education and family communication. The conference aimed to increase support and training for parents.

- 4. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) The acronym Pi, a number of mathematics, is the symbol of the project Parenting Initiative.
- 5. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) OBJECTIVES: The development of educators and adults and having better learning outcomes Improving and extending high quality learning outcomes Promoting the position, participation, activity of parents in social and cultural learning.
- 6. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) ADDED VALUES: Increasing the number of parents who have access to training Comprehensive support aimed at solving the problems parenting Supplementing the existing policies to support parents
- 7. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) In accordance with the project objectives, Academy Culture and Education Association arranged the PI DAY event as planned.
- 8. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) On PI DAY , on 14th of March - Members of the association came together - There were more than 20 participants
- 9. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) Salih GN and Ebru ZTRK BAKIR shared the experiences they had during the project process in Spain. They gave information about the activities had been completed and the future plans and objectives of the Parenting Initiative project.
- 10. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) They also introduced the cultural savings they had in Spain. Also, all of the members wore PI DAY t-shirts Prepared a PI DAY cake and cookies which had symbol on them

- 22. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) This national profile showed the fact that, most of the parents in Turkey do not attend a Parenting Education, But also they think that if they attend, it will be useful for them.
- 23. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) For a better generation and world, parents should be trained about; family communication, gender equality, basic human rights, first quarter of life (development between 0- 18 years), marriage and family life,
- 24. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) school and family, legal knowledge necessary for daily life of a family, family budget, family and shopping, media, healthy living prevention.
- 25. PARENTING INITIATIVE (PI) In accordance with the project objectives, Academy Culture and Education Association organized the Parenting Education Conference . It took place in the conference hall of Municipality, on 30th of March, at 17:30.
