Polar bears are a species of carnivorous bear that live in the Arctic. They weigh between 150-1000 kg as adults and feed on animals like walruses, beluga whales, and seals. Polar bear cubs stay with their mothers for over 20 months, learning to hunt and survive. Global warming has negatively impacted polar bear populations by reducing sea ice for hunting and travel, causing food scarcity and dangerous conditions for swimming between ice platforms.

Polar bears The polar bear or white bear is a species of carnivorous mammal of the bear family. His scientific name is Ursus Maritimous.His gestation period to last 195 ¨C 265. They measure 2m and they have long, Male: 2.4 ¨C 3m (adult) or Female: 1.8 ¨C 2.4m (adult). CUBS: WEIGH: 0.5 ¨C 1kg For at least 20 months, cubs drink their mother¡¯s milk and depend on her for survival. In the Low Artic weaning occurs as cubs approach their second birthday. Cubs in the high artic generally receive an additional year of care.
