Mandy had to give up her pony Prince but later discovered he was adopted by Susan, a rich girl from London. Susan did not properly care for or feed Prince, making him sick. On the day of a race, Mandy hid Prince to prevent him from competing in his ill state, but was forced to return him to Susan. Mandy's veterinarian father then examined Prince and confirmed he was too sick to race. Susan later apologized to Mandy, who agreed to help care for Prince if they kept their distance from her farm.

- 1. PONY ON THE PORCH SUMMARY Mandy has a pony called Prince, as she cant have it at home, she had to give him in adoption although Mandy didnt want to and she was going to miss him. A girl from London arrived to Mandys town; she comes from a rich family and she couldnt adjust to life in America, neither its landscape nor Mandys animals. Prince had a new home, however Mandy didnt know where he went; but some time later she realized that Susan (the girl from London) had him. Susan wanted Prince to run in a race but, she didnt feed him either look after him correctly, therefore the pony was sick. The day of the race had come, everything was ready and Prince couldnt run because of his sickness, Mandy wanted to avoid it and asked her friend James to steal the pony and hide him until the race is over. Mandy hid him on the porch of the church, but Susan discovered them and asked her to give him back; the judge race obligated Mandy to give the pony back to Susan, although she tried to explain them that the pony was not well, as she didnt have proofs, the judge demanded to give him back. Then Mandys father, Dr. Adam, who was a veterinarian, arrived there to check out Prince; Mandy ran to stop Susan and the pony but when she was going to get them, she fell down and got injured, but despite that, she could stop them; her dad said that the pony was not able to run, so Prince returned to live with Mandy. Time later, Susan visited Mandy to ask for pardon, Mandy forgave her; she begged Mandy to give Prince back, Mandy noticed Susan was very apologized, she agreed on giving him back; Susan also asked Mandy to help her with Princes care, Mandy answered affirmatively, but she told her they have to keep them away from her.
