Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying its good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation thats least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state theyre comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

4. Il servizio di ritiro 竪 cos狸 veloce che a volte non faccio nemmeno in
tempo a preparare la corrispondenza
Quando mi 竪 stato proposto il servizio ho accettato volentieri di provarlo. Mi
stavo trasferendo nel mio nuovo Studio per iniziare una nuova avventura
professionale.
Sapevo che laumento del lavoro avrebbe coinciso con laumento della posta da
gestire. Per me, ma credo per tutti i professionisti, il tempo 竪 una risorsa tanto
importante quanto limitata e mi sembrava intelligente non sprecarla in fila alla
posta e nella compilazione delle raccomandate.
La mia scelta si 竪 rivelata giusta. Il servizio ha mantenuto le promesse. Lutilizzo
del servizio 竪 molto semplice e comodo. E sufficiente preparare le buste da
spedire, una breve telefonata per avvertire che serve un ritiro e il resto lo fanno i

Lunico inconveniente che ho riscontrato 竪 stata leccessiva velocit nelleffettuare
i ritiri. Le prime volte si presentava il postino per il ritiro prima che avessi finito
di preparare tutta la corrispondenza.

Ora ho imparato che devo finire di imbustare ogni singola lettera prima di alzare
la cornetta e chiamarli.

A distanza di un paio di mesi eccomi qui a mantenere la promessa.

8. Nonostante la mia diffidenza iniziale oggi grazie a Posta
Power io e i miei collaboratori risparmiamo un sacco di tempo
Quando mi sono arrivate le comunicazioni di Posta Power nelle quali
venivo invitato a provare il loro servizio non avevo nessuna intenzione
di chiamarli per affidargli la corrispondenza.
Le comunicazioni che vengono inviate ai condomini sono molto
importanti e il loro smarrimento (o consegna in ritardo) potrebbe
causare molto problemi.
Dopo molte settimane ho accettato di fissare un appuntamento con il
titolare dellagenzia di Trento e successivamente di provare il servizio.
Nonostante lestrema diffidenza iniziale ora devo ammetter che il
servizio offerto 竪 allaltezza delle esigenze di un professionista.
9. La velocit nella consegna mi assicura che le comunicazioni arrivino a
destinazione nei tempi prestabiliti.
Inoltre grazie al sevizio di ritiro presso lo studio e a quello di
compilazione della modulistica per le raccomandate fa risparmiare a me
e ai miei collaboratori moltissimo tempo.

10. Apprezzo laggiornamento in tempo reale della mia anagrafica clienti
in caso di indirizzo errato o cambiato
Ho iniziato ad utilizzare Posta Power sfruttando lofferta iniziale che ti
permetteva di provare il servizio senza impegno.
Finito il periodo di prova ho continuato a chiamare i ragazzi per farmi venire a
prendere la posta direttamente nel mio studio.
Non devo fare altro che alzare la cornetta e loro ti ritirano la posta a domicilio e
compilano tutte le ricevute di partenza e di ritorno delle raccomandate.
Inutile sottolineare che le ore di lavoro risparmiate tra compilazione e fila alla
posta sono tantissime.
Inoltre la presenza di un referente personale ti assicura che in ogni momento, con
una semplice telefonata, sai dov竪 la tua posta.
Un aspetto molto importante 竪 che la velocit e lattenzione con la quale la posta
viene consegnata ti permette di aggiornare in tempo reale eventuali cambi di

12. Una maniacale attenzione nella gestione della corrispondenza
Ho voluto provare il servizio perch辿 mi sembrava interessante la possibilit di
avere il ritiro della corrispondenza direttamente in agenzia.
Le poche volte che dovevo andare personalmente allo sportello postale per una
sola raccomandata il livello di frustrazione per il tempo inutilmente sprecato era
molto elevato.
Il servizio 竪 molto comodo. Il personale gentile e sempre puntuale nei ritiri.
Ho potuto toccare con mano lelevato livello di attenzione con le quali viene
lavorata la corrispondenza.
Un nostro errore nella compilazione di alcune prioritarie 竪 stata subito notata dai
ragazzi di Posta Power che mi hanno avvertito in tempo reale. Risolto i piccolo
problemino la corrispondenza 竪 partita regolarmente.
13. Prezioso anche il lavoro di restituzione in tempo reale delle buste con indirizzo
errato e mittente trasferito. Ci permette di aggiornare lanagrafica velocemente e
evitare ritardi nelle comunicazioni con i nostri clienti che si sono scordati di
comunicarci il loro cambio di residenza
Nel complesso il servizio offerto da Posta Power non presenta carenze ed 竪
indispensabile a chiunque esiga una maniacale attenzione nella gestione della
propria corrispondenza
