1. I have learned a lot in project InGenius and I am very happy that
I could share my experience with my colleagues, students and make
my school Spojen叩 邸kola Martin in Slovakia and my work better.
I helped to increase the quality of career advising at my school (inspiration was taken from
workshop for counsellours in Brussels 2013):
we created team of career counsellors at my school
we started cooperating with primary schools, we prepared special excursions for their students,
lectures, technical education in our manufactories
we improved career advising for our students who are in their final year, developed cooperation
with employers in our region
we prepared visits of experts and lectors from different universities, lectures in field of IT CISCO
and computer systems
we developed cooperation in field of security systems Jablotron company as well as Volkswagen,
KIA Slovakia
How has my participation in InGenius project changed me:
Practices I did were implemented into curriculum of STEM subjects at our school (Street
lighting, Scratch , Xperimania I, Experience Science with Sensors, The Blu-ray disc, First
Lego league, It's all about energy ...). My colleagues and I opened a new classroom
classroom of my dreams - focused on programing in the realm of automated systems.
These are parts of it:
sensor systems Coach II (inspiration came at 2nd 2013 inGenious summer school in Barcelona,
Sensor systems Einstein)
robotic systems Lego Mindstorm EV3 (inspiration was taken from Future Classroom Lab at
European Schoolnet in Brussels)
building kits for programing of microprocessor systems Arduino and Raspberry Pi
(motivation came from 4th inGenious workshop in Tours and chat Arduino - Digital electronics in
the classroom)
I became a project manager for international cooperation at my school . The impulse of ideas for
more projects came from InGenius. I created of an portfolio of international projects-training
internships for our students abroad, preparation for the European labor market within the
Erasmus plus, vocational internships of teachers and students abroad in projects Leonardo IVT-
Enlargement of the professional competences in the realm of automated systems and IT,
Leonardo Multilateral partnership Model of cooperation between IT school and sector in area
of vocational training and STEM subjects. My students presented their outcomes in project
EUROSCOLA in Strassbourgh too.
