• By injecting the antipasmonic agent
to diagnosis structural and
functional abnormalities of lumen of
the duodenum.
• INDICATION
• Suspected lesions
• To evalvate duodenal abnormalities
• To evaluate lumen of duodenum and
pancreatic diseases
• CONTRAINDICATION
• Suspected pregancy
• Suspected perforation & fistula
(tubeless Method).

• Fluroscopic unit
• Barrium sulphate solution (thick
density 80 ml)
• Medium density (50 ml)
• Hypotonic agent
• Antipasmonic agent
• Bilbao dotter tube
• Pneumatic bulb
• Efferscent powder ( gas producing agent )
• Lubricant jelly
• Anesetic spary
• METHOD
• Tube method
• Tubless method
