Database ( UTP GYM)

The UTP opened in January 2013 the university gymnasium under the direction of the steering Ing Marcela
Paredes de Vásquez; located in the basement of Building 3 Campus Victor Levi Sasso.
The purpose of this show is that UTP count on a place where the university community can take to exercise,
which entails that the person has a better physical and mental condition for better performance in their
daily work.
This gym is run by the management of culture and sports, being in charge Gondola Mr. Nestor, who is in the
gym every day to monitor students to make proper use of the equipment located there. There are also
some students who help care for the gym by choice and in turn guide other students on the proper way of
doing your exercises as there are no personal trainers.
The main requirement is needed to attend this gym is a student of UTP. Another important aspect is to have
the proper attire (sneakers, shorts, pants diver, towel, sweater or shirt). Once students enter the
administrative or gym teachers are asked certain information such as name, ID, etc ... to keep track of the
people attending the gym.
There is an overall average of between 70-85 people attending this gym daily, and it is estimated that more
students are attending this faculty of Industrial and electric; Monday being the day that the gym tends to fill
up.
People who attend the gym are allowed about an hour to use the gym if it is busy, if not doing so are
allowed to be a little longer, students who still attend the gym more during their free time. This has 12
training teams, the most used and the treadmill machine for legs.
The gym offers a Monday through Friday from 6am-6pm which is divided into two sessions: 6am-2pm for
students and for administrative 4pm-6pm.

• Provide suggestions to improve the
information system users.

The UTP need to create a database for the
control of persons who attend the
(teachers, administrators and students)
fitness. . The gym is in the basement 3
significant data to consider are:
• The gym has a manager that is defined
by its full name, ID, email address and
telephone number. This has helpers that
are defined by their full name, address,
Email, ID.
• The administrator is responsible for
administering and managing the machines
found in the gym. These are defined by
their number, description, name and
develop muscles.
• A vendor provides all the exercise
machines. Important data are the provider
name and address.
• The administrator controls that people
do not last more than two hours in the
gym dare a stopwatch from the time of
entry.
• People who go to the gym are students;
defined by its ID, name, race, power,
phone, time of entry and departure time.
Teachers also attend the gym and these
are defined by their ID, name, last name,
time of arrival and departure time. The
administration also go to the gym, and
these are defined by whether ID,
department name.
