Students write 3-sentence paragraphs. You give the first sentence. The catch is everything must be perfect for the student to be one of three students who will receive extra credit points. Teaches students to be more careful self-editors.

POWER WRITING 1. Write with a pen. 2. Copy my sentence and add two sentences of your own to make a three-sentence paragraph. 3. Indent the first line of your paragraph. 4. Leave a one-inch margin on all four edges of your paper. 5. Capitalize correctly. 6. Punctuate correctly. 7. Spell correctly. 8. Use perfect grammar! 9. No erasing, crossouts, or whiteout. 10.If you make a mistake, skip two lines and start over again from the very beginning! 11.Write on both sides of your paper.
