Physical Education and Nutrition UnitToday the students will complete an obstacle course to perform and review all locomotor movements and breakfast nutrition.
Each student will go through an obstacle course that will have eight stations of locomotor movements.An example of a locomotor movement performed in the obstacle course is hop-scotch (hop).
The obstacle course will have eight stations of breakfast nutritional activities as well.An example of a breakfast nutritional activity is choosing the correct healthy break food, Which would be the cereal.
The purpose of the obstacle course is to review the unit and show proficiency within the physical education and nutrition unit.
The students will be video recorded while completing the obstacle course to show to the parents on Parents Day
Once the students have completed the obstacle course, the video can be used by the teacher for performance and proficiency results of the unit. This indicates to the teacher how well the students grasped the material within the physical education and nutrition unit.
An example to show Locomotor skill performance results from obstacle course would be a pie chart
