Ye Olde Table of Contents:This sounds fun! Wait, what are we doing again?You are getting a chance to dive into American history to find out answers to YOUR burning questions!How am I going to do this? Hey, youre making us do work, arent you?Yes. But fun work! You are going to create a question about life back during the Revolutionary War and find a website or websites to answer the question.Step 1. Create a question and ok it with Ms. M.Step 2. Explore historical research websites and 3. Answer it!
Timelines and Due DatesI knew you were going to make us work. When is stuff due?Create a question by September 15, 2010. You are free to come up with a question that can be researched on your own, but you can always ask for help if you need it.Find a question that you really want the answer to! This is supposed to be fun, remember?Explore historical research websites which will be discussed in class. Maybe find some of your own. Show me at least 3 by September 25, 2010.Start researching your question on these sites by October 1, 2010. Depending on your question, there might be a lot or a little out there.
But HarkThere is More!You should have enough information to answer your question by October 10, 2010. While we are finding out answers to our burning questions, we will also do an American-history themed math lesson , world history, and even a P.E. lesson!Be ready to turn in your answer by October 15, 2010.I am a resource, as well as your classmates. No question is silly. ALWAYS ASK WHEN YOU ARE STUCK!!!And here are the rubrics

M. looking for?Your Answer to Your Question (Powerpoint presentation):4= You gave 4+ pieces of information in a well-organized, 5 minute Powerpoint explaining how you came up with your question and your research process3=As above;  you gave 3 pieces of information2= You gave 2 pieces of information in a 3-5 minute well-organized Powerpoint explaining how you got your question1= You gave 1 or no pieces of information in a badly organized Powerpoint presentation under 3 minutes long.Each criterion is weighted equally (33% for all 3 = 100%)AND ABOVE ALLHAVE FUN!!!
