Power Writing is a fluency building exercise where students choose a topic, think of words related to it, and write continuously for a set period of time. The document provides instructions for teachers on implementing Power Writing in the classroom, including having students choose topics, set timers, count and record their word totals after each round of writing, and optionally share their writing. Word lists and online word cloud tools are also suggested to spark ideas. The goal is to build students' writing stamina and fluency through repeated, timed writing sessions.
