We work with 6th and 7th grade students on drawings of Greek artist Alexis Akrithakis and Polish artist Stanislaw Wyspianski. The students enjoy drawing Akrithakis' colorful paintings and making cardboard suitcases, but find Wyspianski's human portraits more difficult. During a winter school held by the Association "Merkuri" in Georgia from January 8th to 13th, children ages 10-13 participated in various artistic activities using creativity and imagination. Stanisaw Wyspiaski was a renowned Polish painter, writer and poet born in 1869 in Krakow. He showed early artistic talent and received guidance from famous painter Jan Matejko.
