The 7th annual AVSC PreDevo Triple Crown Challenge was held on March 5th at Aspen Highlands. Forty-nine local athletes ages 6-9 participated in the event, which combines moguls, big mountain, and GS racing. The athletes showed great focus and determination in stepping up to the end-of-the-year challenge. The PreDevo program provides young athletes an introduction to both racing and freestyle skiing.

The 7th
annual PreDevo Triple Crown Challenge was held at Aspen Highlands on
Saturday, March 5th
. Fourty-nine local athletes ages 6-9 participated in the
multidiscipline event, which combines Moguls, Big Mountain and GS racing. Overall,
athletes stepped up to the end-of-the year challenge with great focus and
determination. The PreDevo program provides young athletes with an introduction to
both racing and freestyle skiing. The Triple Crown Challenge, as designed, is truly a
culminating event athletes look forward to and can apply the multiple skills they have
worked on all season long. As a coach it is inspiring to watch these athletes give-it-
their-all today, said Amy Beresford, AVSC PreDevo Head Coach.
