Iceland has a population of 320,000. In 2008, Iceland went bankrupt and in 2009 brought down its neo-liberal government. Citizens voted down a 2010 referendum by 93% that would have made them pay back debt, and from 2010-2011, 25 citizens helped draft a new constitution via the internet that was presented to parliament.
