This document discusses the rules for adding "-ing" to verbs to make them present progressive verbs. It lists four rules: 1) for most verbs simply add "-ing", 2) for verbs ending in "e" drop the "e" and add "-ing", 3) for one-syllable verbs with a short vowel double the last consonant and add "-ing", and 4) for two-word verbs add "-ing" to the main verb and copy the particle. It then provides examples to which the correct form of "to be" should be added in the present progressive tense.
