Si comparem els indicadors socioeconòmiccs del barri amb els mateixos
indicadors del districte d’Horta-Guinardó i la ciutat de Barcelona*, podem
veure com:
» Dels 21 CEIP d’un districte amb 12 barris, 6 estàn ubicats al nostre
barri (28,5% del total, amb 1.800 alumnes), a més de 2 instituts
d’enssenyament secundari, 2 grans centres privats d’educació
infantil, primària i secundària, 4 llars d’infants més una actualment
en construcció i una escola d’educació especial
Total: 15 centres educatius, gairebé 5.000 alumnes, 10.000 mares i
pares, a més del personal treballador de les escoles, en un barri amb
una població de 9.614 habitants
» La població empadronada al barri entre 0 a 14 anys és un 13,6% del
total, gairebé un 2% superior a la del districte (11,8%) i a la de la
ciutat (11,8%)

» No tenim cap espai infantil/ludoteca, respecte a 7 al districte i 50 a la
ciutat
» Tenim 1 espai de jocs infantils, en un lloc orogràficament de difícil
accés (Plaça de la Font de la Mulassa), respecte a 56 al districte i 497
a la ciutat
» No tenim cap espai esportiu urbà (cistelles, ping-pong, circuit, bitlles,
skate, petanca, etc.), respecte a 31 al districte i 258 a la ciutat
» Tenim 1 pati obert a centres educatius (CEIP Font d’en Fargues),
respecte a 4 al districte i 18 a la ciutat
» Tenim importants mancances en equipaments d’atenció socio-
sanitària i culturals, amb cap biblioteca o centre cívic, tot i que a curt
termini està previst la recuperació del Casal de la Font d’en Fargues i
a llarg termini la rehabilitació de la Masia de Can Fargues com Escola
Municipal de Música
5. » Tenim diferents terrenys i finques abandonats o bé ocupats (entorn
CEIP Àngels Garriga, finca ocupada “la casa del Polacs”, etc.), amb
problemes de segoretat i convivència
» Per les seves dificultats d’accés i mobilitat, tenim una deficitària
xarxa comercial i cap mercat de barri
6. MOBILITAT
» No tenim cap accés a metro i només 10 parades de bus (bus 39),
respecte a 186 al districte i 1.828 a la ciutat: proporcionalment,
almenys ens caldrien 8 parades més de bus
» No tenim cap bus de barri, amb un bus del barri del Guinardó (117)
que es prolonga fins al Carmel (19 parades al nostre barri), que no
soluciona les necessitats reals de mobilitat de les nostres escoles i
del volum de població que generen, amb cap alternativa real a l’ús
del vehicle privat i el que això genera als entorns escolars en hores
puntes
» No tenim cap línia de bus que connecti les nostres escoles amb el
Passeig Maragall i els accesos al metro més propers
» Tenim greus problemes d’accessibilitat a molts carrers, amb escales
i voreres en molt mal estat
» No tenim cap carril bici (barris amb carril), respecte a 5 al districte i
50 a la ciutat
» Tenim 1 estació de Bicing (Font d’en Fargues, 1), respecte a 9 al

Com podem obrir noves vies de comunicació entre les mares i
pares de les nostres escoles i els/les representants institucionals
del barri i la resta d’entitats del barri (AAVV, Casal de barri, Esplai,
etc.)?

Volem promoure el lligam històric i estratègic del nostre barri amb
el sector educatiu, un dels sectors econòmics estratègics i
emergents de la ciutat

» Espais i equipaments
Volem fer un mapa de tots els punts negres del barri, amb
propostes concretes de millora i de seguiment de cada proposta,
amb la finalitat de fer-les arribar a les administracions competents
Dignificar els voltants de les nostres escoles, amb jocs infantils a
les seves àrees d’influència: entrada al parc del Guinardó per
Garriga i Roca/Montserrat de Casanovas, terrenys abandonats del
carrer Gallecs, casa ocupada del carrer Arc de Sant Martí, etc.
Més patis oberts (en el marc del projecte Temps de barri), amb
millora del manteniment del pati de l’escola Font d’en Fargues,
obert actualment
Volem promoure i donar suport a totes aquelles iniciatives
educatives que surgeixin a les nostres escoles amb sentit de barri:
activitats extraescolars compartides (entre setmana i caps de
setmana, casal d’estiu, festes, etc), formació de mares i pares,
educació cívica (brutícia als carrers, campanya “aquest carrer és
teu”), etc.

» Mobilitat
Demanar al districte d’Horta-Guinardó un estudi de mobilitat amb
una previsió de les necessitats pels propers anys i el consegüent
“Pla de mobilitat del barri de la Font d’en Fargues”:
- Donar solució a la mobilitat de mares, pares, nenes, nens i
personal treballador de les escoles del barri
- Estudiar la mobilitat dels veïns de la zona del passeig Maragall
i Vilapiscina amb les escoles del barri
- Establir quines vies s’han de pacificar per promoure la
mobilitat amb bicicleta i per a vianants
Impuls decidit pel projecte dels camins escolars al nostre barri:
passos de vianants, senyalètica, segoretat als carrers, millora de la
pavimentació entre les escoles, etc.
