Koren volunteered at her first event, a CIBC breast cancer run, where she cheered on and motivated runners while spreading cancer awareness. This sparked her interest in volunteering and working with non-profit organizations. She graduated high school feeling excited, grown up, and ready to pursue her goals in college. Koren took her first vow of silence in 2012, staying silent for 5 hours to bring attention to issues like bullying and child labor. Meeting Craig Keilburger of Free the Children changed her life by showing her how to make positive change in the world and fueling her interest in helping developing countries. Meeting motivational speakers through Me to We, like Spencer West, continues to inspire Koren to become an agent of
2. My first grade 9 volunteer with
Volunteer Now. I was volunteering for
CIBC run. This was my first time
giving back to the community. And
how I fit into there, is that there are a
lot of people who are dealing with
Breast Cancer. What I did in this
event was cheering the people along
with giving them motivation to
continue the run and giving them
appreciation. What I gained from this
MY FIRS event is me continuing volunteering
and spreading awareness's
This is one of the events that
sparked me, and it is also gave me
the idea that I should become
working with Non-profit organization.

3. Graduating Sir Wilfrid Laurier
was really exciting for me.
Because that means that I can
go down to college.
And also that means I am
closer to my goal. I also feel
like a grown up, and ready to
take down this world. And in
college, I will found out what I
really want. Even though it is
a scary moment moving up
the latter but I am ready for
anything that comes my way.
And I am ready to take the
risk and take the chance and
make a change.
Graduating and
Diploma
4. My very first Vow of
silence. And this was
back in 2012. When I
was almost silent for
5 hours. I can?t even
be silent for more
than an hour. This
effected me the most
because I can?t speak
what?s on my mind.
After this stimulation,
it taught me to
continue the
movement with Free
Vow of Silence the Children and look
more into Bullying
and Child Labour.
And that is what I was
standing up for in the
Vow of Silence.
5. This is when I first meeting Craig
Keilburger. He changed my life
forever because he showed me
how to become the change.
What the third world countries
are happening, and how thankful
we ?re to be living in this country.
And I found my “Spark” and I
want this to become my future
career, since I can?t see myself
doing anything that is different.
This organization even became
my interest to get to know more
and more what it does to help
the third world countries so I
went in, so when there is an
event, I always go and check it
out.

6. Meeting Spencer West, for
the forth time. But every time
I meet him, I get really
excited because he?s one of
the motivational speaker that
I got inspired by too. And
ever since I joined Me to
We, it has brought me more
and more motivated
because I get to meet
motivational speakers that
inspired me to become the
change and inspired me to
get myself going to be the
next person who changes
Meeting Spencer the world.
And to get me wanting to

Development to end up a job
with Free the Children.
