Presentation #3This presentation displays one of the design projects I created for my Fashion Drawing class at the University of Rhode Island.It displays my creative abilities as well as my ability to tackle problem solving within the fashion design world.In this presentation you will see my fashion sketching skills as well as my thought process that went into making these garments.
- 3. Design Thesis:Are you tired of your bathing suit not staying on? The H-Two-0 line is my solution to combat the daily issues that female water sport enthusiasts are plagued with. This line of fun and innovative swimwear is geared towards women ages 15-30 who are true water sport enthusiasts. Each swimsuit in the line has different features that are a big help to surfers, lifeguards, boogie boarders, wind surfers, kite surfers, wake boarders, and water skiers. From built in thermometers to detachable whistles and storage compartments, theres nothing I have not thought about incorporating in this active swimwear line. There are also sport-specific materials used in the construction of the garments to increase their practicality. You will find that the pieces in this collection are are pleasing on the eyes as well as innovative. There are many subtle embellishments like pleats, bows, metallic studs, and ruffles throughout the collection to keep the collection fun and flirty. I hope you enjoy my new and innovative take on womens active swimwear!
