Vietnam's agribusiness sector has grown rapidly in recent decades despite constraints on agricultural resources. Agriculture contributes over 20% to Vietnam's GDP and 28% to exports. While resources are limited, Vietnam has utilized available resources effectively to sustain 4% annual growth in agriculture since 1998.
