Emergence The bursting of the dot-com bubble in the fall of 2001 marked a turning point for the web (1.0). Dot-com companies had to rethink their strategies and overhauled their web-sites. Web-sites became interactive for users and web 2.0 was born
Difference between Web 1 and Web 2 In Web 1.0 almost all content was created by organizations and fed to users. Whereas, In Web 2.0 over 60% of content is developed by individuals.  Web 1.0websites were used todisplay texts and images but with web 2.0 the internet became more user friendly and intuative. User today can actually change parts of websites
Impact on business Through social networking sites like linkedin.com people can build up business relationships with people from all over the world second life makes flying to different countries useless (impact on aviation sector??) Informations are passed on even faster than before
Business examples  BitTorrent 揃Every client is also a server files are broken up into fragments that can be served from multiple locations, transparently harnessing the network of downloaders to provide both bandwidth and data to other users.
