OnlineBusService Project Profile: Project Defination: Online Bus Management System Objectives: The objective of PSTU Online Bus Service is to easily track the information of all registered user, drivers and bus destination. The main goal of the project is to build a good management for all users. The main purpose of this project is to reduce the time taken through manual system in order to maintain all the records. Front End: html, CSS, JS based web page. Back End: PHP, MySql. Tools: XAMPP Server 3.2.1, Dreamweaver, Java Script, html, CSS.

OnlineBusService Problem Statement: System that are used by the University at the counter currently is an analog system and just used to sell the bus ticket at the counter which is a waste of time. Officials & students has to go to the counter to buy bus ticket or ask for bus schedule that is not efficient. Furthermore, customers need to pay cash when they buy the bus ticket and sometimes needs to queue up long time to get the bus ticket. Lack of immediate information storage the information generated by various transactions takes time and efforts to be stored at a right file. Inability to retain records as they are lost if they are kept on wrongly.
- 9. OnlineBusService Proposed Solution: The method to solve this problem is to create an online booking bus ticket system . Customer can buy the book ticket over the Internet, 16 hours a day, 5 days a week and the bus ticket can't be lost, stolen or left behind. In addition, the online system lets the passengers check the availability of the bus ticket before they buy bus ticket. Furthermore, passengers no need to pay cash to buy bus ticket on counter because they can pay the bus ticket when ticket purchasing on online.
