This document summarizes an audit of 78 total laryngectomy procedures performed between 2007 and 2012 at AIIMS ENT department in India. The majority of patients were males between 40-60 years old with a history of smoking and alcohol addiction. Most common tumor site was supraglottis and majority of cases were locally advanced cT3/T4 tumors. Post-operative complications occurred in 15 cases, most commonly neck hematoma and pharyngocutaneous fistula. During follow up of 26 patients, 13 had no evidence of disease while 8 experienced recurrence.
