Female drivers in a study tended to tailgate other drivers less than males and felt that other drivers, both male and female, did not drive well compared to themselves. The study also found that compared to males, more females reported not driving very fast or very slow. Overall, the small study indicated that females had slightly less aggressive tendencies than males when tailgating and were less likely to speed.
