Digital technologies played an important role in helping the filmmaker research, produce, and improve their experimental film and title sequence. Blogging allowed them to receive feedback from audiences to refine their work. YouTube provided inspiration from studying other title sequences. Photoshop and Premiere Pro software enabled efficient editing and professionalization of photos and video. Survey Monkey and Facebook also aided in gathering audience feedback to develop the documentary. Without these digital tools, the filmmaker would have struggled to complete research, learn skills, and produce high quality work.

1. was an advantage for my
post production for example
the use of blogging allowed
me to receive feedback from
my audience to therefore
improve my production of my
experimental film, and also
title sequence and film
opening.
Other internet technologies such as YouTube allowed me to gather
research for my title sequence and film opening, I was able to
research upon Saul Bass who was most famously known for his
title sequences such as Seconds and The man with a golden
arm. Without this internet technology I would have been unable to
gain this research in particular which helped influence and inspire
my own work involving using various shots and edits.
Other internet technologies such as Photoshop also allowed me to
make photos more efficient to use to then upload onto my blog.
The software of Adobe Premiere
CS6 aloud me to edit the title
sequence efficiently making it look
more professional and also
entertaining for the audience.
Without edits such as crop, fades
and also dissolves the title
sequence would not flow efficiently
making the final production look un
professional.
2. However in A2 I used a lot more
digital technology then I had
previously done, I continued using
Adobe Premiere for the editing
process of my documentary which I
was able to do quickly due to having
experience with the software during
AS. I was therefore able to use more
skillful edits such as scale and
fix, fading transitions as well as the
split screen effect.
These were carried out
due to my
understanding of the
previous edits used, I
also become more
familiar with using audio
in Premiere for muting
particular clips and
3. During A2 I also used internet technologies such as survey
monkey through social networks such as Facebook in order to
gain a wider an random response from my audience, giving me
anonymous feedback that therefore helped the production of my
documentary and its progress.
Other software such as InDesign in the design software that I
used when creating my ancillary products, I was new to using
this software and the skills needed in order to create a
professional looking photo. I therefore used research on
YouTube, as I did not have media technicians available to help
me, however YouTube was helpful on various edits to be used
for example fading and making particular parts of the photo
transparent.
In conclusion digital technology enabled me to research as well
as produce professional looking work which would have been
difficult to accomplish without the digital technology that was
available to me.
