- 2. About Us Yug Sanskriti Nyas (YSN) is a public, charitable trust registered in India since 2008. Our mission is to strengthen community-led development initiatives to achieve positive social, economic, and environmental change across the nation. We envision every person empowered to lead a more secure, prosperous, and dignified life at every corner of India. Developing villages and marginalised slums are our priority intervention locations along with disaster affected settlements. We have linkages with nearly 200 Institutions to deliver our programmes on the ground to achieve inclusive growth and sustainable development for all.YSN has well developed systems and policies, a robust institutional mechanism to support its programme from its national office at New Delhi. YSN complies with all statutory requirements in a timely and transparent manner.
- 3. Our Initiatives Yug Sanskriti Nyas is a Non-Profit Organization in Central Delhi, working day and night with utmost vigilance and dedicated purpose of serving mankind. We feel honored in improving so many lives through our endeavors and shall strive to continue working in more diverse areas of social development. It is through the collective efforts that we have managed to pull off so many drives and events in the nations welfare since our establishment in 2008. Mr. Dharambir Acharaya, our trusty and founder serves with his dedicated team throughout the year in all emergencies and social aid programs with the motive to reach out to the maximum disadvantaged and needy population of our country.
- 4. Founder Message With our team, We established Yug Sanskriti Nyas (YSN) in 2008. The main aim was continuity in the interest of living beings. Social service has played an important role in my thoughts and my work style. We believe that it is necessary to modernize the techniques and methods of social service but it should be youth friendly also. In todays time, Trust is a thought, a milestone of culture, bridge between aged and youth, between culture and society, between yesterday and tomorrow. The purpose is to make aware the people about the golden culture of past, so that they also understand their responsibilities and get involved more and more. We have known from our glorious past that social welfare services remained in nature and culture of everyone. We have full faith that collective efforts by the team in a planned manner for social service will be successful and more effective. In the past years, we have faced various natural calamities, the result of which has been very sad and painful. We would like to salute to all those who made an incomparable contribution in this journey of the Trust. Whenever there was a trouble in the nation and society, we deployed our services with our courageous, skilled and dynamic teams where support & direction of likeminded people make it more significant. For the welfare and well being of every individual, we with our courageous teams engaged in the field of education, health, medicine, environment, women empowerment, self-reliance, disaster management, and rural development.
- 5. Volunteer Generosity is not dependent on vast wealth but our earnest efforts; time, kind words or even a hearty smile can soothe a troubled soul which is far more than any gift or donation. Here, at Yug Sanskriti Nyas, we believe that volunteering is not just a social service to become a volunteer for an NGO but a path to losing the sense of self-importance and reap humility. Voluntary services is the backbone of all activities connected to Yug Sanskriti Nyas and people from all walks of life and diverse experiences share a common goal of addressing critical issues through their services. Our organisation recognises its achievement in its spirit of volunteering of our dedicated management who actively supports various social drives and events while giving ample opportunities to the young staff for showcasing their serving aptitude.
