Primary school number 3 in Żory was founded in 1973 and has about 470 students and 40 teachers. The school has two computer labs, 18 classrooms for different subjects, and 5 interactive whiteboards. It also has two gyms, an outdoor area for young children, a playground, and a football pitch. The principal is Mrs Irena Krzywoń, with Vice Principals Mrs Grażyna Frąckowiak and Mrs Natalia Chrabańska. There are several clubs at the school including the "Window on the World" Comenius club led by Mrs Monika Michalska. Students work on projects in groups focusing on translations, posters, presentations, and the school blog.

Primary school number 3 in Żory Our school was founded in 1973. There are about 470 students (ages 6-13) and 40 teachers at our school. We have two computer laboratories, 18 other clasrooms designed for different subjects and 5 interactive ready-for-use boards, two gyms and the outdoor playing area for small children, the playground and football pitch.
School principals and leading Comenius clubs The principal of our school is Mrs Irena Krzywoń. Vice principals are Mrs Grażyna Frąckowiak and Mrs Natalia Chrabańska. The leading Comenius club is called "Window on the World", and it is conducted by Mrs Monika Michalska. "Comenius for Beginners" is conducted by Mrs Anna Kania. Leading drama club is directed by Mrs Monika Franczuk-Frysz. The journalist club which is the "Chronicle of Comenius' is conducted by Mrs Jowita Chodacka-Wojtynek, and last but not least the "Around Żory with Comenius „ club is organised by Mrs Gabriela Steuer.
Groups of Comenius There are a lot of groups dealing with Comenius in our school. The students working directly on the project’s results are divided into 3 main groups. We work on translations, posters, leaflets, presentations, and we put the pictures on the blog. Another 3 groups concentrate on particular activities, they are: - theatre group which prepares the performances - journalist group which edits the multimedia journal about Comenius - Comenius around Żory club during which students walk and take photos of interesting places in Żory

A few of us Waleria: I like dancing and listening to music. Gosia: I like theatre, music, dancing and many others. Zuzia M: I like listening to music, dancing and surfing the net. Hania: I like listening to music, painting and dancing. Zuzia K: I like reading, listening to music, making jewelery and a lot others. Kasia: I like listening to music and playing volleyball. Janka: I like making decupage. Agata: I like dancing and singing. Wiktoria: I like dancing and listening to music.
A few of us     Michasia: I like listening to music and reading. Madzia: I like meeting friends and playing tennis. Jakub: I like watching car racing. Andzia: I like reading books.     Alicja: I like dancing. Jakub: I like playing football. Paweł: I like listening to music and playing the piano. Agata: I listening to music.
