BlackBerry Messenger (or BBM for short)
The BlackBerry Messenger uses unique 8 alpha
numeric Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) for
each individual BlackBerry device, to communicate
between devices.
It is a secure (you have to be accepted by the other
BlackBerry user first, before being able to PIN / BBM)
form of text messaging.
It is the cheapest form of text messaging, as the
BBM service is built into the monthly BlackBerry BIS /
BES plan, and does not use data allowances.
